Bringing Families into the BACK Program
Before starting the BACK program
Families have to:
- Be assessed for asthma risk
- Be eligible
- Hear about the program
- Agree to participate
During recruitment
You will need to:
- Attend in-school registration
- Help collect the Asthma Intake Form
- Introduce BACK to the school
- Attend back to school events or otherwise advertise the program
- Help collect Asthma Intake Form
- Assess Asthma Intake Forms for eligibility
- Help school nurse send BACK letters to eligible families
All of this is tracked in RedCap “Beginning of School Year” survey.
